For those who have been waiting impatiently to find out about this year’s screenings in Poznań, we have some really splendid news!
Over the next couple of weeks before the festival actually begins, we will be presenting the films that were selected for this edition of Ale Kino Festival! Starting from now!
In the competition section of full-length films for children, young viewers aged 9+ will have an opportunity to watch the premiere of ‘Dilili in Paris’. To lift the veil of secrecy, here is a short trailer.
Dilili is a true little lady originating from the Kanak people of New Caledonia, who arrives in the Paris of the Belle Epoque. Accompanied by Orel, a friendly bicycle courier, she is trying to solve the mystery of kidnapped girls. Along the way, she meets a true representation of the historical figures of that era. The crime story mixes with images of well-known places and famous people such as Renoir and Monet, Debussy, or actress Sarah Bernardt, as well as Maria Curie.
A beautiful animation by the French master, Michel Ocelot, the winner of, among others, BAFTA and Cèsar awards, as well as the laureate of numerous animated and children’s film festivals!
